Miss Manga VS Miss Manga Punky

Simple Synth Miss Manga VS Miss Punky Review Mascara l'oreal

Hey guys, it was my birthday on Thursday so I decided to finally invest into a Canon 700D for myself to improve the quality of my photos and YouTube videos. I only ordered it yesterday so it should come sometime next week (hopefully). Anyway, today i've got a L'oreal Mascara comparison for you guys today. So which mascara do you think will win? Carry on reading to find out my opinions on the two products.

L'oreal Miss Manga

This mascara was originally the first one of the Miss Manga range to be launched. It is black with shiny pink. The mascara I think is meant to give you the impression that you are going to get those Manga cartoon characters lashes. Some of you will probably know what i'm not about but yeah haha! So, the brush has normal bristles in a unique conical shape. The narrowed tapered end allows you to get into your inner lashes and outer lashes easier. Just with one coat of the mascara I was very impressed. It separates the lashes well, gives them length and volume. It is everything you want from a mascara in one mascara. Although, if you're not careful the formula is really creamy and dries quickly so if you do not want clump lashes make sure you separate them quickly.

L'oreal Miss Manga Punky

If you haven't already heard there has been a recent launch for the new Miss Manga Mascara and this one is a Punky one. The plastic conical shape of the wand is designed to make your lashes look like spikes and omg it really does. The formula is wet so you will also need to make sure you separate the lashes before the mascara dries if you do not want a clumpy look as this is what the mascara is mean to do.

So, who is the winner?

For me the winner is L'oreal Miss Manga Punky as it really lengthens my lashes and makes them really stand out due to the intensity of the volume that it gives. Although this mascara is very wet and can get annoying and ruin my eyeshadow at times I am able to work with it by either making sure my lashes are dry before I flutter them around or use cotton swabs to remove and mess it has made. Although I am really not a fan of clumpy mascara I can really make this one work with patience and accuracy. When I coat my lashes carefully I am able to get that separated look with length and volume. However, if you are impatient and can't be bothered and want the mascara to do the job for you then go for the original Miss Manga as it will save you a lot of time and effort and still looks great with a toned down volume.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, I have decided I am going to attempt to post every Sunday so that you guys know when to revisit my blog for new posts.

Comment which one is your favourite out of the two...

Have a lovely Sunday!

Ah I'm really not sure of these, I like a mascara that does the separating for me haha I've heard the punky one really makes your lashes clump together but I guess that is kinda the point! x

Thank you for the comparison, I've always wondered about the punky version. I really like the original one :)

I would recommend it if you want to avoid clumpy lashes!:)

It's worth it! There is a 3for2 offer in boots at the moment as well!

Yeah it is really hard to avoid the clump but with hard effort you will get along with it easily as it is a good mascara but if you just want an effortless mascara then the original miss manga is near enough just as great without the clumps!

No worries!:) the Punky version is definitely worth getting as there is a 3 for 2 offer in boots atm I believe it's pretty much the same with extra length and volume but it is hard to work with when you want to avoid clumps!

Great post, but I would be a bit better if you would take a picture of how both look on your eyelashes, just for comparison :)

Happy belated birthday! I do actually prefer Miss Mana if I'm honest, but may have to give Punky another whirl!
